Contract: Part Time - Perm
Hour: 20-25 hours per week
Pay: £12.71 per hour weekdays & £13.21 per hour weekends
Shift: Weekdays and alternative Weekends
Location: Hayward Close, Stevenage, SG1 5BS

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our Care Home in Stevenage, a 91-bed residential home. Jubilee Court Care Home is positioned as a modern, purpose-built care home with a strong focus on high-end facilities, hotel-style living, and personalised care.
As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident’s wellbeing.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant experience or willingness to learn the necessary skills
- A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents
- Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised
- Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste
- Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
- Follow health and safety policies and procedures

An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
