Housekeeper (Zero Hours) - Yarnfield Park, Staffordshire | Zero Hours

£13.45 per hour + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.

We’re looking for...

We’re looking for friendly, hardworking and reliable Housekeepers to join our dedicated team at Yarnfield Park, part of The Venues Collection. Working alongside the wider team, you’ll help make sure our hotel bedrooms are clean, comfortable and ready for our guests to enjoy.

No previous housekeeping experience is necessary – just a positive attitude, an eye for detail and a real pride in doing a great job.

Housekeeper (Zero Hours) - The Role

As a Housekeeper, you’ll play an important role in making sure our guests have a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay.

You’ll

  • Clean and maintain hotel bedrooms to a consistently high standard.
  • Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas.
  • Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and high-touch areas are cleaned and sanitised regularly.
  • Empty and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
  • Make sure bedrooms and other designated areas are clean, presentable and safe for our guests.
  • Follow all required cleaning procedures, policies and standards.
  • Use cleaning equipment safely and responsibly, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Work closely with colleagues to make sure the housekeeping operation runs smoothly.
  • Take pride in the presentation of our guest areas and contribute to a positive experience for everyone staying at Yarnfield Park.

Working Hours

This is a zero-hours contract, with working days usually falling between 9.00am and 2.30pm.

The role offers flexibility and is ideal for someone looking for daytime hospitality work.

What We’re Looking For

No previous housekeeping experience is necessary. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • A passion for delivering great customer service.
  • A positive and hardworking attitude.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
  • The ability to work independently and use your initiative.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A flexible approach to working.
  • Good awareness of health and safety when using cleaning equipment.
  • A reliable and dependable approach to attendance and timekeeping.
