Barhaugh Hall, near Alston, Cumbria
Part-Time | Term Time Only | Permanent
£13.65 per hour, increasing to £13.75 per hour following successful completion of a 6-month probation period | 12 hours per week | Paid year-round (annualised hours)
Robinwood Activity Centre is looking for Housekeepers to join our friendly and enthusiastic team at Barhaugh Hall Activity Centre, working Wednesdays and Fridays 7am – 4pm (would consider Monday instead of Friday) during term time only.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an award-winning organisation delivering residential outdoor activity experiences to primary school children.

This Role Involves
About the role of a Housekeeper:
- Cleaning and preparing our teachers' rooms ahead of their stay
- Cleaning communal areas of the activity centre
- Processing laundry and supporting the smooth running of busy turnover days
- Maintaining high standards of presentation throughout every aspect of the centre

Some cleaning experience is useful but not essential as long as you can demonstrate excellent customer care skills and the ability to be positive, professional and supportive of others at all times. We take safeguarding very seriously and the successful applicants will need to complete an enhanced DBS check.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
