Location: Manchester, across MCR Property Group and Flow Student sites

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, typically 8:00am to 1:00pm or 9:00am to 2:00pm

Duration

Permanent/Part time, 20 hours per week

About The Role

Flow Student provides modern, affordable student accommodation across the UK, with sites in cities including Sheffield, Liverpool, Coventry, Nottingham, Canterbury, Bradford, Preston and Sunderland. Every Flow Student property is fully furnished, has all bills included and sits close to campus, giving residents a straightforward and comfortable base for university life.

We are looking for two reliable and hardworking Housekeepers to join our team, working across our Manchester sites.

The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our properties, carrying out general housekeeping duties as well as kitchen and room cleans when required.

This is a varied role, so flexibility and a willingness to work across different Manchester locations will be important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general housekeeping and cleaning duties across our Manchester sites
  • Clean and maintain communal areas, kitchens, rooms and other facilities to a high standard
  • Complete regular cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces
  • Ensure kitchens and shared areas are clean, tidy and well presented
  • Carry out room cleans when required
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues
  • Follow appropriate health and safety and cleaning procedures
  • Work efficiently and manage daily cleaning tasks to a high standard
  • Maintain a professional and friendly approach when working around residents, colleagues and visitors
  • Work flexibly across different Manchester sites as required

About You

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable
  • Reliable, punctual and organised
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  • Flexible and willing to work across different Manchester locations
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Able to work occasional weekends when required
