Housekeeper – Thurrock Hospice (Part-time and full time hours available)

Role Overview
As part of the Housekeeping team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all areas of our hospice. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and have a detail-oriented approach to housekeeping tasks.
- Salary: £12.72 per hour.
- Contract: Permanent, Part-Time and Full-Time Hours available
- Hours: Flexible shifts including potential weekends.
- Location: St. Luke's Hospice Thurrock, with potential to cover other locations as needed.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure areas including patient rooms, common spaces, and staff areas are clean, tidy, and sanitized.
- Adhere to infection control and health safety guidelines meticulously.
- Efficiently manage supplies and ensure areas are well-stocked.
- Maintain clear and positive communication with the hospice team to support all housekeeping needs.
- Contribute to the upkeep of a positive and supportive environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Your Profile:
- Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is essential.
- Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role in a care setting is preferred.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- A compassionate and respectful attitude towards all members of the hospice community.
- Commitment to the values and mission of St. Luke's Hospice.
