DOMESTIC COUPLE – COTSWOLDS
Informal, relaxed family seeking an experienced and capable Housekeeper/Cook and Maintenance/Gardener/Driver Couple to take sole charge of their household in the beautiful Cotswolds (GL56).
The family are currently living in a rental property while their new home is being refurbished. The couple will work across two Cotswolds properties, with occasional support required at the family’s Notting Hill residence.
The household comprises the principals, two children (Uni & boarding school) and 4 dogs, so a genuine love of dogs is essential.
HOUSEKEEPER
The Housekeeper will take primary responsibility for the smooth running and upkeep of the homes. Duties will include:
- Full hands-on housekeeping and cleaning
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Caring for furniture, antiques and fine furnishings
- Sewing and mending
- Household organisation and management
- Assisting particularly with back-to-school routines
- Dog care and general support around the household
- Family cooking, including preparing fresh, family-style meals
- Entertaining and occasional dinner parties would be an advantage but not essential

MAINTENANCE / GARDENER / DRIVER
The partner will support the household with a combination of maintenance, gardening and driving duties. The position could be part-time, approximately 25 hours per week, or full-time, depending on the candidate’s skills and preference.
Duties may include:
- General property maintenance and handyman duties
- Gardening and grounds upkeep
- Liaising with contractors when required
- Driving the family and running household errands
- Moving between the two Cotswolds properties
- Assisting with deliveries and household logistics
- General outdoor and practical support

A good all-rounder with a practical, can-do attitude is sought. A full UK driving license is essential and a vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
Salary negotiable up to £80k gross per annum for the couple, pro rata if the partner works part-time
Accommodation: Separate one-bedroom gatehouse
Pets and partners welcome
Monday to Friday, approximately 8am–6pm
Occasional weekend work
