We are looking for two dedicated Housekeepers to join our team and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, safe and clean environment for the children, young people, families, colleagues and visitors who spend time with us.
About the Role:
As a Housekeeper, you will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and Care Team to ensure our hospice environments are maintained to the highest standards. From preparing bedrooms and family accommodation to keeping communal areas spotless and welcoming, your contribution will help create a home-from-home experience for families who need it most.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be trusted to work independently, use your initiative and take pride in maintaining exceptional standards throughout our sites.
What You'll be Doing
- Delivering high-quality cleaning services across our hospice and office spaces.
- Preparing children's, young adults' and family accommodation to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Maintaining clean, tidy and safe communal areas for families, staff and visitors.
- Keeping communal kitchens clean, stocked and welcoming.
- Monitoring cleanliness standards and reporting any issues when required.
- Following health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.

Hours and Benefits:

Hours of Work:
- One x full-time - working 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 4.30pm working Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur/Fri and includes working 1 in every 4 Sunday's, with a day off the following week.
- One x part-time - working 16 hours per week, 3pm to 7pm - Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri
Hourly rate of pay: £13.91, may also attract additional enhancement for weekend working.

You will need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young adults and vulnerable adults and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
