About Croft House
Croft House is an elegant and spacious home situated within a leafy suburb close to Stansted Airport. The home is set in stunning, well-maintained gardens and is also situated within walking distance of the main high street of Great Dunmow, which is ideal for residents to get out and about.
At Croft House, staff take great care to focus on the person. It’s important for residents to feel at home, so staff create a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.
Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients and they try to cater for all ethnicity groups. Soon after a resident arrives at Croft House, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.
There’s a real sense of community at Croft House. The staff love to discover what residents enjoy doing and the social calendar is organised around those interests.

You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Being responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
- Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms
- Maintaining housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raising any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
- You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment.
- Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
