Salary: £13,988.00pa
Hours: 20 hours per week

About The Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll play an essential role in creating safe, clean and welcoming environments across our accommodation and community sites. Your work helps ensure that the people who use our services feel respected, valued and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

Working as part of our Housekeeping Team, you'll maintain excellent cleaning standards, follow health and safety procedures, and help ensure our buildings remain safe, hygienic and ready for the people who depend on them every day.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a supportive team and understands how a clean environment can positively impact wellbeing.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in maintaining exceptionally clean and welcoming environments.
- Is reliable, dependable and able to manage their workload effectively.
- Can work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.
- Has a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Communicates professionally and respectfully with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Understands the importance of health and safety within a cleaning environment.
- Is flexible and willing to work across different YMCA Derbyshire locations when required.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle.

Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable, although we also welcome applicants who have the right attitude, reliability and commitment to delivering excellent standards.
