Job Opportunity: Housekeeping Team at Parkview Care Centre
Parkview Care Centre is recruiting for Domestic and Laundry Assistants to join their housekeeping team.
Job Details
Position: Domestic and Laundry Assistant
Working Hours: Part-time, working 24 hours
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the removal of all waste is in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Clean all floor areas, damp dust and thoroughly clean all furniture, fixtures, and fittings (moving light equipment if necessary).
- Clean all sanitary areas.
- Clean internal paintwork, doors, window frames, skirting boards, etc.
- Abide by all COSHH regulations, colour coding, and clean and store all domestic equipment in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Adhere to the cleaning schedule.
- Work as part of a team, attending staff meetings and training if required.
- Respect client’s independence, privacy, and dignity.
- Maintain appropriate records accurately.
- Foster good working relationships.
- Communicate effectively with all grades of staff.
- Maintain both business and client confidentiality.
- Take care of the building and report any defects or repairs.
- Carry out deep cleaning throughout the home as required.
- Adhere to IP&C regulations.
- Before the end of shift, check that all floors have sufficient linen (towels, bedding, etc.).
