Your purpose will be: To cultivate a pristine, calming, and luxurious atmosphere that embodies the heritage and elegance of Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere. As a Spa and Wellness - Housekeeping Attendant, you play a vital role in ensuring every aspect of our Spa is flawlessly presented, spotless, and thoughtfully detailed. Through precision, pride, and a commitment to excellence, you help create the signature Fairmont experience.

Job Description

  • Impeccable Cleanliness — Maintain exceptional presentation and cleanliness of the spa
  • Linen & Supply Care — Replenish towels, linens, and guest supplies with accuracy and consistency
  • Cleaning Standards — Follow all cleaning procedures, including deep-cleaning schedules and Fairmont brand standards
  • Maintenance Reporting — Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly
  • Guest Privacy — Handle guest belongings with absolute respect, discretion, and professionalism
  • Guest Interaction — Respond warmly and professionally to guest requests with a guest-first mindset
  • Health & Safety Compliance — Adhere to hygiene, COSHH, and manual-handling regulations
  • Daily Briefings — Participate in briefings and ongoing training to maintain service excellence
  • Lost & Found — Support accurate, confidential handling of lost-and-found items
  • Team Culture — Contribute to a respectful, positive, and supportive team environment
  • Fairmont Standards — Uphold Fairmont grooming, communication, and service expectations at all times

Qualifications

  • Experience — Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally in a luxury hotel
  • Attention to Detail — Strong eye for detail and pride in delivering exceptional standards
  • Cleaning Knowledge — Understanding of cleaning techniques, hygiene standards, and room presentation
  • Health & Safety — Awareness of UK health & safety regulations, including COSHH (training available)
  • Teamwork & Independence — Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Time Management — Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Professionalism — Courteous, professional, and guest-focused approach
  • Physical Capability — Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Passion for Hospitality — Genuine enthusiasm for luxury service and creating memorable guest experiences
