The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance

Your focus is to lead the housekeeping department in delivering exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience standards across all guest rooms and public areas. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will execute the housekeeping strategy to achieve budgeted commercial performance while maintaining consistently high operational standards. This role requires an absolute obsession with quality, efficiency, and leadership, ensuring your team is fully engaged and delivering outstanding hospitality at all times.

Why Village?

At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating great experiences for our guests and each other. That is why we back our teams to be themselves, take ownership, learn new skills, and grow their careers.

Previous experience is great, but your attitude and energy matter much more to us. If you are friendly, positive, love working with people, and enjoy being part of a busy team, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need. Because it really does take a Village.

How The Village Thrives

We live our culture through four simple commitments:

  • We Can & We Do: We show up to make a genuine difference and do fantastic work everyday, with purpose. We translate strategic objectives into action plans and drive sustainability initiatives like waste reduction.
  • We Will: Treat each other with respect and dignity. No ego, no drama. We try our best, look out for each other, and liaise effectively across all departments to ensure smooth room readiness and maintenance resolution.
  • We Care: We care about our impact on guests, the community, and each other. We sustain an engaged team through development, recognition, and a strong culture of support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
