About the Role
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the founding team for this highly anticipated luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to shape the guest experience at this iconic new hotel, located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace. Home to 100 elegant rooms and suites, 17,500 sqft of private residences, and featuring two Michelin-starred restaurants (Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud), plus a world-class spa, fitness facilities, and grand event spaces, this role will deliver five-star standards from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the housekeeping department during the hotel’s pre-opening phase, ensuring all areas meet Waldorf Astoria’s exacting standards
- Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff to build a high-performance team aligned with luxury hospitality principles
- Coordinate with culinary, maintenance, and concierge teams to deliver seamless, flawless operations
- Monitor inventory and suppliers to uphold superior cleanliness and guest aesthetics
- Oversee compliance with brand protocols, including five-star room and public area protocols, marking, and turnaround processes
- Ensure sustainability initiatives are integrated into daily operations
- Analyse operational efficiency and suggest improvements to support the hotel’s opening timeline

About You
We’re seeking a proven leader with:
✔ 5+ years’ experience in luxury housekeeping, ideally within a high-end hotel or resort environment ✔ Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams under pressure ✔ Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to meet tight deadlines ✔ Familiarity with EPIC (or similar PMS/housekeeping software) (advantageous but not essential) ✔ Commitment to Waldorf Astoria’s core values: “LAdele”: Local connectedness, Ambassadorship, Discernment, Elegante simplicity, Loyalty, Elevate inevitability ✔ Team-building mindset and passion for delivering bespoke guest experiences ✔ Strong written and verbal English skills (workplace setting)
