Role Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a part-time, on-site role based at Posh Pads in Liverpool. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, including:

  • Assigning tasks
  • Monitoring room and apartment cleanliness
  • Ensuring that all areas meet company standards

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports and guides housekeeping team members, checks work quality, and coordinates linen and laundry processes. The role includes:

  • Responding to guest requests
  • Addressing housekeeping-related issues
  • Working closely with the Reception team to ensure rooms are ready on time

The supervisor also helps maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, follows health and safety procedures, and contributes to training and onboarding of new housekeeping staff.

Qualifications

  • Strong supervisory skills, including team coordination, task allocation, and performance monitoring
  • Housekeeping skills, including room and apartment cleaning, attention to detail, and adherence to hygiene standards
  • Fluent English is a must as this role requires to communicate with other departments and guests
  • Laundry skills, including handling linens, operating laundry equipment, and maintaining stock levels
  • Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
  • Experience in a hotel housekeeping leadership role is essential
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe use of cleaning products is advantageous, however full training is provided
  • Reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
