Housekeeping Supervisor
21.5 hours a week X 2 POSTS
Hours between 07.00 - 21.00. Posts will include day, evening, weekend and some Bank Holidays. To be confirmed at the interview
About the Role
The post of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to oversee and co-ordinate the provision of an efficient, high quality and cost effective Housekeeping service to all Wards and Departments on site and, where applicable, to off-site locations, under the direction of the Team Leader and Facilities Manager, and to promote excellent standards of team working and Customer Care.
Ensuring that hospital Wards, Clinics and Departments are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene, environmental cleanliness and appearance and leading the Housekeeping team in delivering high quality services to all areas; supporting the delivery of service modernisation and National Initiatives.
You will be seen across the site and will be required to carry out your work so that the standards set and the wide range of services provided support patient care and the needs of other hospital users.

The post holder is expected to treat patients, service users and carers with courtesy, care and compassion at all times, treating each person as an individual by offering a personalised service. Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
