Bringing strong communication and leadership skills, you’ll manage rotas, oversee stock control, and prioritise workloads effectively. With good IT and customer service skills, as well as an eye for detail, you’ll also play a hands-on role in daily housekeeping duties, helping to create a welcoming and safe environment.

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will:

  • Support team development through training, coaching, regular communication, and team meetings
  • Monitor performance through appraisals, and manage attendance, annual leave, and absence
  • Ensure cleaning products and equipment are used safely and effectively, in line with health and safety procedures and service deadlines
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels, ensuring the team has the resources required to perform their duties
  • Oversee key administrative tasks, including rota management, stock control, audits, and maintaining accurate training records
  • Act as the main point of contact for issues relating to work areas or equipment, resolving concerns and liaising with management where required, including handling complaints
  • Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment, ensuring full compliance with health and safety and infection prevention policies
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, consistently meeting quality standards and agreed procedures

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
