Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Housekeeping Turndown Attendant to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Here's what you'll do during a typical day
As a Turn Down Attendant, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional evening experience for our guests by ensuring that rooms and suites are thoughtfully prepared for the night. With meticulous attention to detail and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality, you will help create a sense of comfort, elegance and anticipation that reflects the renowned standards of Waldorf Astoria.

- Carry out turn down service in guest rooms, suites and residences in accordance with Waldorf Astoria and Forbes Travel Guide standards
- Prepare guest rooms for the evening by refreshing the room presentation and creating a welcoming nighttime environment
- Turn down beds to exact luxury standards, ensuring impeccable presentation and comfort
- Refresh guest amenities, towels, water, glassware and in-room supplies as required
- Close curtains, adjust lighting and room settings to create an inviting evening ambience
- Deliver personalised amenities and special occasion arrangements in accordance with guest preferences and requests
- Review and action guest preferences, VIP requirements and special instructions accurately and discreetly
- Ensure all guest belongings are handled with the utmost care, respect and confidentiality
- Report maintenance concerns, damage or safety issues promptly to the appropriate department
- Respond professionally and efficiently to guest requests and enquiries
- Maintain assigned service areas, pantries and equipment in a clean and organised condition
- Support Housekeeping Supervisors in delivering exceptional presentation standards throughout the hotel
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Adhere to all health, safety, security and brand standards at all times
What are we looking for?
A Turn Down Attendant serving Hilton's luxury brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and with Team Members from other departments. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following qualities and capabilities:
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining immaculate standards
- Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, discreet and service-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- High standards of personal presentation and professionalism
- Flexibility to work evening, weekend and public holiday shifts
- Commitment to maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality

- Previous experience in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel environment
- Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide service standards
- Experience delivering turndown service within luxury guestrooms, suites or private residences

- Knowledge of VIP guest preferences and bespoke room preparations
