This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional looking to join a busy and supportive housing team, assisting with the delivery of high-quality tenancy and housing management services on a 3-month contract.

Your new role

  • Providing day-to-day operational support to the Housing Management team.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for tenants and customers, handling queries and requests professionally.
  • Supporting the management of tenancy records, applications, transfers and allocations.
  • Assisting with rent arrears and general income collection activities.
  • Arranging appointments, preparing correspondence and maintaining accurate housing records.
  • Supporting neighbourhood inspections, estate management tasks and customer engagement activities.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to ensure excellent customer service.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a Housing Assistant, Housing Officer or similar housing role.
  • Experience working within a housing association or local authority environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively within a busy team.
  • Experience using housing management systems would be advantageous.
