We are a community-focused housing association dedicated to providing local services that truly meet the needs and aspirations of our residents. Our work is guided by a simple promise: we listen, we care, we are trusted, and we are always looking for ways to improve. We’ve built a supportive, friendly environment where our staff can make a real difference to the lives of people living in the East End.
The Role
As our new Housing Customer Support Officer, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our team. Based at our head office with regular trips to our local housing centres, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents reaching out via phone, email, or in person. This is a busy, varied role where you’ll help resolve a wide range of queries on the spot—everything from raising repair requests and helping with rent payments to issuing parking permits and fobs.
Beyond the front desk, you’ll be an administrative expert for our internal teams. You’ll manage your own caseload of work, update housing databases, and carry out satisfaction surveys to help us understand how we’re doing. Whether you're managing the reception area or collaborating with colleagues in Asset Management, your goal is to ensure our services run smoothly and our residents feel heard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
