Its Legal Services team advises on a broad range of matters across housing, litigation, governance and local government law, working closely with stakeholders to deliver practical and effective legal solutions. You'll join a collaborative and supportive legal team comprising experienced lawyers, legal officers and paralegals, with a strong emphasis on professional development, mentoring and career progression.
Your new role
As a Senior Housing Litigation Lawyer, you will play a key role within the Litigation and Housing Team, managing a varied caseload of housing and litigation matters while providing supervision and support to junior colleagues.
The role will have a particular focus on public sector housing law, including advising on housing policies and procedures, conducting and overseeing housing-related litigation, and providing strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with a current practising certificate in England and Wales.
- Significant experience in housing law and civil litigation gained within England and Wales.
- Experience advising on housing policies, procedures and housing-related disputes.
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience supervising, mentoring or managing junior legal professionals, or the aptitude and ambition to develop these skills.
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:

- Local government law

- Employment law
- Judicial review
