Housing Litigation Lawyer Opportunity in Stockport
Service Care Solutions is working with a local authority in Stockport to recruit an experienced Housing Litigation Lawyer to join their established and growing Legal Services team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to join a supportive and collaborative local authority legal team, handling a varied caseload predominantly focused on housing disrepair, with opportunities to develop experience across wider housing-related matters.
Key Details:
- Location: Stockport – Hybrid Working
- Salary: £45,091 – £51,356 per annum + additional benefits and pay award pending
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent
- Working Pattern: Hybrid – minimum of 2 days per week in the office

Responsibilities:
As a Housing Litigation Lawyer, you will:
- Provide high-quality legal advice and representation across a varied housing caseload.
- Work predominantly on housing disrepair litigation.
- Develop expertise in areas including:
- Housing disrepair claims and litigation
- General housing-related legal advice
- Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
- Homelessness
- Housing allocations
- Advocacy and representation
- Advising internal council departments and stakeholders
- Manage a busy and varied caseload from instruction through to resolution.
