About Us

Choosing to work at Stef & Philips is about more than just having a job. All members of our team share the same goal: to help improve the lives of vulnerable people around the UK, by delivering safe, suitable homes and vital services for the homeless, backed by investors who care. This people-centred ethos is reflected in our company culture; we prioritise wellbeing, inclusion, and opportunity for all.

The Role

As our Housing Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of the housing officer department and ensuring our weekly property, occupancy, and welfare inspections are conducted efficiently and to high standards. You will lead and manage a team of housing officers that manage a property portfolio across London.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a team of 15 plus housing officers across the S&P portfolio and an office-based administrator.
  • Supporting housing officers on site to effectively resolve complex situations, escalating to senior management if required - ASB, tenant complaints, neighbour complaints, high-risk tenants, inspections.
  • Implementing processes, reviewing the structure of the team, and identifying areas and trends which will lead to an increased level of service.
  • Regularly auditing housing officer inspections and providing feedback.
  • Allocate patches to housing officers.
  • Ensure inspection reports are being carried to S&P standards.
  • General support, training, and mentoring to housing officers.
  • Conducting regular reviews and one-to-one meetings with the team.
  • Ensure void periods are minimized, and our management service is maximized by liaising with other key departments.
  • Carry out monthly ‘one-to-one’ meetings with housing officers.
  • Overseeing inspections.
  • Ensure the team are using the CRM system Salesforce appropriately and good computer housekeeping practices are maintained in relation to backup procedures and filing of reports and documents.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
