This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 15 days at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

As a Housing & Neighbourhood Manager at Amplius, you’ll lead a regional team delivering safe, well-managed neighbourhoods, supporting customers and working with partners to build stronger, more resilient communities.

Salary: £52,736 per year

Contract: Permanent, full time

Your week: 36.25 hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm

Location: Hybrid - weekly office presence in our Rushden office.

Snapshot of your role

  • Lead the delivery of tenancy, housing and neighbourhood services across a defined region, ensuring tenancies are managed in line with agreements, policies and legislation.
  • Lead, manage and develop Housing and Neighbourhood Officers, providing direction, coaching, performance management and oversight of workloads and case management.
  • Oversee complex neighbourhood cases, voids and tenancy compliance, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and properties are re-let efficiently.
  • Work with internal teams and partners to improve estate standards, safety and neighbourhoods, including regular estate walkabouts and joint action in hotspot areas.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, Local Authorities, Police, community groups and voluntary sector partners, championing customer involvement and co-producing local initiatives.
  • Ensure services meet housing law, regulatory and organisational requirements, including accurate case records, audits and reporting for senior management, the Board and regulators.

What You’ll Need To Thrive In This Role

  • A Level 4 QCF recognised housing management qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of estate and neighbourhood management, with good knowledge of housing and tenancy law.
  • Direct line management experience, with the ability to lead, develop and support a team through change.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the housing regulatory environment, with the ability to apply changes to policies and processes.
  • Strong partnership and collaboration skills, with experience working with Local Authorities and other stakeholders, alongside the ability to use housing systems and travel across a large geographical area.
