About the Role
Our Property and Support service is looking for a newly created Housing Occupational Therapy Team Manager.
The Housing Occupational Therapy team manager will lead and oversee the housing occupational therapy team consisting of qualified Housing Occupational Therapists and assistants. The postholder will ensure high-quality, compliant, and effective service delivery for adults across Wiltshire by working closely with the wider housing and adult care services, as well as registered social landlords. The role involves managing staff, allocating workloads, supervising complex cases, ensuring legislative standards are met and overseeing performance. They will help and support people with disabilities to access suitable housing or support with assessing and implementing appropriate adaptations in their home where is practicable to do so. The postholder will drive quality assurance, staff development, risk management and continuous service improvement to achieve the best outcomes for residents.
Requirements
The role requires a HCPC registration with substantial experience in health and social care or occupational therapy. The postholder must have strong leadership, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills, a good understanding of relevant legislation and budget management and the ability to deliver positive outcomes while maintaining accurate records and providing professional advice.
About Us
Our hybrid working model means office staff are on site for at least half their hours, community-based staff carry out at least half their admin time in a workplace, and customer-facing roles work entirely from their service location.
