We are seeking an experienced Housing Officer to manage a patch of approximately 250-300 properties, delivering a high-quality housing management service to residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for tenancy management, rent collection and arrears recovery, allocations and voids management, resident engagement, and managing anti-social behaviour cases. You will work closely with support services and external stakeholders to help residents sustain their tenancies and build strong communities.

- Manage a designated housing patch and provide an effective tenancy management service.
- Maximise rental income and oversee rent and service charge collection.
- Manage arrears cases, including Housing Benefit and Universal Credit matters.
- Monitor and reduce void turnaround times.
- Investigate and manage ASB and tenancy breaches.
- Prepare and serve legal notices and complete pre-court documentation.
- Represent the organisation at court hearings and external meetings.
About You
- Previous housing management experience.
- Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management practices.
- Experience in arrears recovery, financial inclusion and debt management.
- Experience of legal proceedings, court attendance or transferable enforcement experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and organisational abilities.
