Home, a place where you belong
You’ll shape how services run and improve, not just oversee them. In this role, you’ll influence service innovation, drive operational improvements, and lead teams. You will lead teams providing twelve supported accommodation services for customers over 55 and leading a housing management team working in partnership with other support providers. We’re keen to develop our service offer in this area so you’ll lead on reviewing, remodelling and implementing change. If you want a role where your decisions matter, your voice shapes strategy, and your leadership improves everyday lives, this is a chance to step up and make a real impact.
What you’ll do
- Managing a team of Supported Managers to deliver outstanding Housing services that align with targets and values.
- Leading operational efficiency across supported, rented, and leasehold services, identifying ways to improve performance and processes.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including local authorities, housing partners, commissioners and contractors.
- Effectively supporting the team to manage a portfolio of properties and services, aligning resources to meet compliance, performance, and customer needs.
- Developing budgets of up to £5m, managing budgets including service charge and rental income, and ensuring financial targets are achieved through efficiency and planning.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
