Woking Borough Council is looking for a Housing Options Triage Officer to join our customer-focused Housing Options team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys supporting vulnerable residents and wants to build a rewarding career in housing. No previous housing experience is required. We'll provide full training and support to help you succeed.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for residents seeking housing advice, you'll play a key role in preventing homelessness and helping people access the support they need. Working within a busy and supportive team, you will:

- Provide advice and guidance to residents who are homeless or threatened with homelessness
- Help customers explore their housing options
- Signpost and refer residents to appropriate support services
- Work closely with Housing Options Officers to ensure residents receive the right assistance
- Deliver excellent customer service while supporting some of the most vulnerable members of the community

Housing experience isn't essential. We value attitude, commitment and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
