We're looking to appoint a suitably experienced individual for the role of Housing Plus Officer in the Supported Housing Team. Our team aims to provide specialist accommodation and tailored services to enable our customers to live independently and safely in their homes.
About The Role
Working within one of our Extra Care schemes you'll be meeting the needs and aspirations of residents, promoting independence, reducing social isolation, improving wellbeing, physical health and mental health. You'll be delivering services in response to customer needs, housing policy and legislation. No two days are the same and you will have accountability for the efficient and safe running of the building.
About You
We seek an enthusiastic and personable individual who can inspire our customers and engage with stakeholders to help build and develop a vibrant community within an Extra Care setting. You should have excellent listening and problem-solving skills and will be accountable for delivering a high standard of supported housing services. You will be comfortable working alone or as part of a multi-disciplined team. Ideally, you will have previous experience in an environment catering to the needs of supported housing or similar and have housing/building management skills.

Key Details
- Position: Housing Plus Officer - Permanent position
- Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week
- Salary: £32,140 pro rata per annum (£16,070 per annum)
- Location: Kilbourn House, Kenton, Newcastle NE3 3JX
- Travel: Some occasional travel may be required in this role for colleague holiday/absence cover & meetings.
