Role Numbers: CH231 & CH232

Grade C: £25,948.96 - £25,989 per annum (pay award pending)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 per week (Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm)

About The Role

We are looking for a professional, and customer-focused Housing Repairs Customer Service Advisor to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for residents, providing high quality advice and support for the Council’s Housing Repairs and Maintenance service.

Working in our fast-paced Customer Contact Centre you will be the front face of the Council’s Housing Repairs and Maintenance service, dealing with calls and emails covering a range of repair enquiries. This role ensures residents can access housing repair services efficiently and fairly. You will handle enquiries by phone, email and online, ensuring customers receive accurate information and excellent service.

About You

You will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • IT skills sufficient to input and retrieve data using Microsoft packages and bespoke software systems.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
  • A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
