About the Role

As Housing Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheme, supporting our residents and ensuring they enjoy a loving, caring and supportive environment where their wellbeing is at the heart of what we do.

At Pilgrims' Friend Society, each of our homes and schemes seeks to express God's love through compassion and support, helping people to live life to the fullest. We are committed to creating a warm and supportive environment for our "family members" (our residents) while maintaining the Christian ethos that is important to many of them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of potential occupants against eligibility criteria and allocate housing units accordingly.
  • Ensure the wellbeing of occupants is maintained to a high standard.
  • Ensure support plans are kept up to date.
  • Lead and manage housing staff within the scheme, ensuring all duties are covered during staff absences.
  • Manage the domestic and maintenance teams.
  • Manage the Wellbeing Assistant.
  • Work with the Finance Team to manage rents, services and other charges.
  • Be responsible for devotions and lead devotional times as required.
  • Provide excellent customer care, ensuring telephone calls, personal callers and clients are dealt with in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
