Join us as a Housing Services Co-ordinator at Thirteen Group!

Role Overview

As a Housing Services Co-ordinator you’ll manage a patch of around 350 homes across York and surrounding areas, dealing with customer enquiries, ensuring that rent is paid and homes are let quickly to maximise income, resolving anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood issues, all in a way that’s of the highest quality, at the convenience of the customer and responsive of need. You’ll be charged with delighting our customers and turning them into real fans and advocates of Thirteen as the landlord of choice.

You’ll work with our customers and local partners to resolve issues quickly and you’ll think differently making business decisions that have a lasting positive impact on our neighbourhoods.

As a geographically spread team you'll be expected to be present on patch 2-3 times per week and you'll be happy travelling to the team office over in Hull and our head office in Middlesbrough as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You’ll be part of a large team of over 180 colleagues, so support and guidance is constantly on hand and training is provided so no specific housing-related experience is necessary but as the front face of Thirteen, strong customer service and relationship-building skills are key.

  • You’ll easily build relationships with our customers and colleagues, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Comfortable dealing with challenging conversations, remaining confident and firm, being respectful and considerate.
  • You’ll be dynamic and energetic, able to think of new ideas and try new approaches and exceed performance targets
  • You'll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle during working hours.
