2 Months Contract with a Local Authority
Umbrella - £28.30 per hour
Job Purpose
As a Housing Solutions Officer, you will support households living in temporary accommodation and help residents secure sustainable housing solutions. You will manage tenancy-related matters, investigate complaints, coordinate repairs, address ASB issues, and support households to move from temporary accommodation into suitable private rented housing.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Manage a caseload of households in temporary accommodation.
- Provide housing advice and tenancy support.
- Support residents to move into private rented accommodation.
- Investigate and resolve tenant complaints.
- Manage tenancy-related issues and breaches.
- Deal with anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases.
- Coordinate repairs and property maintenance issues.
- Liaise with landlords, contractors, and accommodation providers.
- Carry out tenancy and property management duties.
- Ensure accommodation meets required standards.
- Support homelessness prevention and housing sustainment.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain accurate case records and reports.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents.
- Work autonomously while contributing to team objectives.

Essential Experience Required
- Experience working within Housing, Homelessness, Temporary Accommodation, or Housing Management.
- Experience managing tenancy-related cases.
- Experience dealing with temporary accommodation residents.
- Experience investigating complaints and resolving housing issues.
- Experience handling ASB cases.
- Experience coordinating repairs and maintenance matters.
- Knowledge of housing legislation and homelessness law.
- Strong customer service and case management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT and administrative skills.

Essential Qualifications Required
- Relevant Housing or Homelessness experience.
- Right to Work in the UK.
Additional Information to Note
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday.
- Time: 09:00 - 17:00.
- Location: Edmonton Green, EN3 area.
- Experience within Local Authority Housing Services highly desirable.
- Supplier Submission Deadline: 13th November 2026.
- We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
