The role

We have an exciting, permanent opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Housing Solutions team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Can

  • Make statutory decisions in line with the relevant legislation whilst working with individuals, couples, and families who are placed in interim and temporary accommodation to facilitate their move into long term accommodation in a timely manner.
  • Take a proactive approach to ensure all suitable housing options are explored. Identifying potential barriers and what actions are required to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Be creative and innovative in your approach to supporting applicants who require move on support.
  • Work as part of the wider Housing Solutions team, completing visits to temporary accommodation placements, supporting applicants to property viewings also support with funding applications.
  • Record information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues, applicants and stakeholders.
  • Be part of a service that provides housing advice and support, Monday to Friday.
