Housing Support Administrator

We are looking for an organised and professional Housing Support Administrator to join our team and provide effective administrative support across our housing and support services.

We work in a psychologically and trauma informed way to empower people to achieve independence. Target delivers the highest standard of housing and support to enable vulnerable people to live independently, fulfil their potential and contribute to their communities and wider society.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day administration while providing a professional first point of contact for clients, referring agencies, tenants and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact for telephone, email and general enquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate client, tenancy and service records using Omni and other databases.
  • Liaising with referring agencies, contractors, tenants and external partners.
  • Supporting accommodation waiting lists and ensuring relevant access procedures are followed.
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, statistics and monitoring returns.
  • Maintaining Supporting People, CORE and SYHA records and documentation.
  • Supporting meetings, including arranging meetings and taking minutes.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, filing, office supplies and general administration.
  • Supporting the team with IT, data management and document uploads.
  • Preparing information for inspections, audits and organisational assessments.
  • Keeping records, tenancy documentation and support information accurate and up to date.
  • Undertaking other administrative duties as required by the Service Manager.

You Will Have

  • Previous experience in office administration.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Good planning and time-management skills.
  • Experience of minute-taking and producing professional documents.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible and positive approach to changing priorities.
  • A willingness to learn and undertake relevant training.
