We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Housing Management Team as a Housing Support Officer (Career Grade 5-7).

This role is ideal for someone looking to start or develop a career in social housing. Whether you already have experience working with customers or are looking to transfer your skills from another sector, we will provide support, training and development to help you build a rewarding career within housing.

About The Role

Working as part of our Housing Management Team, you will play an important role in supporting tenants and residents, helping them to sustain their tenancies and access the support they need.

The role offers a structured career grade pathway, allowing successful candidates to develop their knowledge, skills and responsibilities over time through training, experience and professional development.

You Will

  • Be the first point of contact for many tenant and resident enquiries.
  • Support the Housing Management Team with tenancy management activities and neighbourhood services.
  • Maintain accurate records and information on housing management systems.
  • Assist with tenancy visits, estate inspections and customer engagement activities.
  • Identify vulnerable residents and help connect them with appropriate support services.
  • Work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes for residents.
  • Learn about housing legislation, tenancy management and safeguarding within a supportive team environment.

Previous housing experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in people who can demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a commitment to supporting residents and communities.
