Housing Support Worker at Manchester Settlement

£27,480 per annum

We are excited to be recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to join our team supporting young unaccompanied asylum seekers and refugees (aged 16–25) in our Ofsted-registered supported accommodation.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing safe, person-centred and trauma-informed support, helping young people build independence, confidence, and a positive future.

  • 35 hours per week
  • Flexible working between 9am–6pm (Monday–Friday)
  • Occasional evening work
  • Participation in a weekend & Bank Holiday on-call rota (minimum 12 days per year, with additional pay)

Essential Car User Allowance: £840 per year
Travel required between service locations and community venues (full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential)

You’ll support young people’s welfare, safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and progression, working in line with support plans and the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.
