We are looking for a Housing Support Worker to join Threshold and help us with our mission to end homelessness by supporting people towards independence.
About The Role
This is a frontline Intensive Housing Management role within Threshold's supported housing team.
- You will manage a caseload of up to 20 residents, ensuring that their accommodation is safe, well managed and compliant with their licence agreements.
- You will undertake property inspections, manage breaches, coordinate voids, maintain accurate housing records and work with residents to sustain their accommodation.
- You will be responsible for the delivery of an effective, high-quality, person-centred support service to service users with a background of homelessness and a range of needs. These include entrenched drug and/or alcohol issues, mental health issues and a range of offending backgrounds.
- This role provides support to service users and promotes their engagement through the development of positive relationships and providing support to move towards independence.
