My client is looking for a Housing & Tenancy Administrator to join their busy and growing property team.
This is a hands-on administrative role supporting the full tenancy process, from receiving property and tenant referrals through to preparing tenancy documentation, liaising with councils, managing benefit-related administration, and supporting tenants once they move in.
You’ll regularly communicate with local authorities, housing organisations, landlords, and tenants, so my client is looking for someone who is highly organised, confident dealing with people, and able to take ownership of a busy workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing new tenant and property referrals from councils and housing organisations
- Liaising with local authorities regarding placements, funding, rent, and tenancy matters
- Preparing and issuing tenancy agreements and coordinating signatures
- Completing tenant onboarding and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
- Supporting changes to Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, and other benefit claims
- Maintaining accurate tenant, property, and tenancy records
- Responding to tenant enquiries by phone and email
- Working closely with the wider lettings and property team
- Managing multiple cases, deadlines, and follow-ups independently
- Identifying and resolving issues using your own initiative

Previous experience within housing, property administration, lettings, or property management would be beneficial, particularly involving:
- Local authorities or housing organisations
- Housing Benefit or Universal Credit
- Tenant referrals or housing placements
- Tenancy agreements and onboarding
- Property management or CRM systems
