HPC Engineer | £70,000 | High-Performance Engineering

Work on HPC infrastructure where every improvement matters.

We’re working with a world-leading high-performance engineering organisation operating at the cutting edge of motorsport and advanced engineering.

They’re looking for an experienced HPC Engineer to support the platforms powering critical simulation, analysis, and engineering workloads.

This is a hands-on role combining HPC operations, performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and project delivery.

The Role

  • Maintain the reliability, availability, and performance of HPC platforms
  • Support critical simulation, analysis, and engineering workloads
  • Improve compute, storage, networking, and scheduling services
  • Monitor workloads, manage queues, and support capacity planning
  • Troubleshoot complex workload, performance, licensing, and data movement issues
  • Provide technical escalation for complex HPC incidents
  • Deliver upgrades, patching, maintenance, and lifecycle activities
  • Support infrastructure improvements and project delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Strong Linux-based HPC experience
  • Experience within scientific computing, simulation, or high-throughput environments
  • Experience with workload and queue management
  • Strong troubleshooting across performance, licensing, data movement, and applications
  • Experience supporting enterprise or engineering-led environments
  • Experience delivering maintenance, upgrades, and changes with minimal service impact
