Job Description

Main responsibilities

You’ll provide essential administrative support to the HR department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising and maintaining accurate employee records
  • Updating internal HR systems, including sickness, maternity leave and other absences
  • Preparing HR documents, including employment contracts and new-starter information
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new employees
  • Providing payroll with relevant employee information, including absence and working-pattern details
  • Responding to employee and manager queries
  • Supporting wider HR projects, recruitment events and job fairs
  • Completing general administration tasks to support the HR team

About you

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident communicating with people at all levels.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an HR administration, administrative assistant or similar role
  • Good computer skills, particularly across Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload
  • Strong written, telephone and face-to-face communication skills
  • A professional approach when handling confidential information
  • A willingness to learn and develop within HR
