Key Responsibilities

👥 Strategic & Operational HR Management

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including developing sourcing strategies, managing job postings, conducting screening, coordinating interviews, and executing robust UK background and right-to-work checks.
  • Lifecycle & Lifecycle Administration: Oversee seamless onboarding and offboarding processes; manage the drafting of compliant employment contracts, offer letters, and variation terms.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Supervise accurate tracking of attendance, leave records, and the administration of company benefits and UK pension schemes (auto-enrolment); liaise directly with external payroll providers to ensure timely execution.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, actively handling queries, conflict resolution, and formal grievance/disciplinary processes.

🏢 Office Administration & Culture

  • Facilities Management: Manage day-to-day office operations, facilities, vendor contracts, procurement of supplies, and meeting logistics to ensure a highly functional work environment.
  • Corporate Initiatives: Design, support, and execute internal corporate events, team-building initiatives, training programs, and cultural milestones.
  • Data & Archives Management: Maintain accurate, highly organized physical and digital personnel files and corporate databases while enforcing strict data confidentiality guidelines.

⚖️ Compliance & Risk Management

  • Employment Law Alignment: Continually update and align company policies, employee handbooks, and practices with current UK employment laws (including the Employment Rights Act 1996, the groundbreaking updates of the Employment Rights Act 2025/2026, and the Equality Act 2010).
  • Data Privacy: Function as the internal custodian for data protection, ensuring all employee and business operations strictly adhere to UK GDPR and Data Protection regulations.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure office environments remain compliant with UK Workplace Health and Safety standards.

Requirements

Education & Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field (Essential).
  • CIPD Qualification (Level 5 or above) is highly advantageous.

Experience & Professional Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR and office administrative functions.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience working within the Real Estate or Property sector is strongly preferred.
  • Language Proficiency: Native or professional fluency in both English and Chinese (Written and Spoken) is mandatory. Candidates must be comfortable translating policies and communicating fluently with cross-border stakeholders.
  • Technical Aptitude: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Legal Literacy: Deep operational understanding of statutory UK rights (e.g., modern sick pay changes, flexible working frameworks, day-one paternity/parental leave paths).
