About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support. You will play an important part in supporting a range of activities across the team, helping to ensure an excellent experience for colleagues.
Working as part of a friendly and collaborative team, you will undertake a broad range of administrative tasks, support meetings and events, manage communications, monitor training compliance, maintain records and assist with financial administration, including raising purchase orders. You will also provide support to the Executive Assistant and cover key activities during periods of absence.
This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders and can prioritise their workload effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
The expected hours of work for this part-time (0.5 FTE, 18 hours per week) role are daily from 9:00/09:30 – 12:30/13:30. The work pattern would be discussed during interviews and agreed upon offer.

The typical starting salary for this role will be £25,249.00 pro rata (spinal point 13 on the University Level 1-6 pay scale), unless you have significant experience in a similar role. Staff increment one spinal point each year, up to the top of the Level.

Your main work location will be Highfield Campus, however, our HR department works across both Highfield Campus and One Guildhall Square. Both offices have easy access to public transport, restaurants, coffee shops and a University gym.
There will be the opportunity to work from home when not due in the office.
