Reed are working with a highly respected Edinburgh based entity that are looking to strengthen their Human Resources function with the best talent on the market.

You will be joining a supportive, stable and busy HR department. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a passion for HR that is looking for an inroad into an HR position.

Location - Edinburgh city centre (office based)

Salary - £ DOE

Key responsibilities

  • Processing new starters and ensuring the data recorded is correct and maintained on the HR database
  • Update absence records on the HR database, highlighting any concerns to the HR Advisor and liaising with payroll as required
  • Update and review information recorded on the HR database, ensuring information is recorded accurately
  • Process leavers in line with our usual practices in a timely manner
  • Assisting in recruitment administration, liaising with candidate's and maintaining accurate records
  • Preparing HR based reports
  • Completing various administrative tasks
  • Monitoring the HR inboxes

Essential Skills

  • Able to organise and prioritise a busy and varied workload
  • Comfortable using MS Office and other systems
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently complete high volumes of data entry across varying systems
