HR Administrator

The HR Administrator role plays a key role in delivering an efficient, responsive, and high-quality HR and benefits service across the firm. Acting as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, you'll support employee lifecycle activity, benefits administration, and HR operations processes, ensuring employee information is handled accurately, confidentially, and in line with established procedures.

Working closely with colleagues across HR and external providers, you'll help to maintain employee records, support people processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services and systems. The role offers a broad range of responsibilities and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the employee experience.

What you'll do

  • Provide a first-line service for HR-related enquiries, offering guidance on HR processes, benefits, and HR systems.
  • Manage activity across the HR Operations and Workday People Experience inboxes, ensuring queries are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain employee records and process employee changes, ensuring data quality and confidentiality at all times.
  • Administer employee reference requests and support employee lifecycle processes.
  • Coordinate and track activities such as probation reviews and sickness absence processes.
  • Support benefits administration, including liaising with providers and maintaining employee benefit records.
  • Review benefits invoices, complete reconciliations, and help ensure accurate processing and reporting.
  • Assist with cyclical benefits activities and projects throughout the year.
  • Maintain process documentation, checklists, and standard operating procedures where required.
  • Contribute ideas and support initiatives that improve HR processes, systems, and the overall employee experience.

Essential

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with data.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A professional and discreet approach to handling confidential employee information.

Desirable

  • Experience using Workday or a similar HR system.
  • Experience supporting HR administration, benefits administration, or employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience maintaining process documentation, standard operating procedures, or checklists.
  • Experience working with employee benefits providers or benefits platforms.
