HR Administrator
London | Full-Time | Up to £30,000
The Opportunity
A highly respected City firm is looking for an HR Administrator to join its HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 6 months’ HR experience within a legal or professional services environment who is looking to develop their career in a broad and varied HR role.
Working closely with the HR Business Partnering team, you’ll support key areas of the employee lifecycle, gain exposure to both operational and strategic HR activities, and contribute to a range of HR projects within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing onboarding and new joiner processes across the firm
- Coordinating pre-employment screening and background checks
- Conducting right-to-work, passport and compliance checks
- Supporting induction programmes for new employees
- Maintaining HR systems and employee records
- Assisting with employee relations administration and documentation
- Supporting visa and immigration processes, ensuring UKVI compliance
- Assisting with maternity, paternity and shared parental leave administration
- Supporting annual pay reviews and benefits administration
- Responding to general HR queries from employees and stakeholders
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What They’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months’ HR experience within a law firm or professional services environment
- CIPD qualification desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong IT skills and administrative capability
- Degree in HR or a related discipline preferred
