Who we are:
Triodos Bank is an award-winning organisation and one of Europe’s leading sustainable banks, whose mission is to make money work for positive social, environmental, and cultural change. We offer a wide range of banking services for people who want to use their money consciously – from current accounts through to investments and savings. We only finance companies, organisations and projects that benefit people and the environment.
The Opportunity
We are delighted to be recruiting for an HR Administrator on a part-time 22.5 hours per week basis. This is a great opportunity to join our HR team and make a real contribution within a values-led organisation.
As part of the HR team, you will provide high-quality, end-to-end HR administrative support with accuracy, discretion and a strong customer focus. You will support the HR Officer, HR Business Partners and the wider business by providing policy and procedural guidance to managers and co-workers, helping to deliver a positive and consistent co-worker experience.
This role offers flexible hybrid working, typically requiring one day per week in our Bristol office. We are flexible on how the 22.5 hours are worked, although ideally these would be spread across 4 to 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Support colleagues and managers throughout the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive co-worker experience.
- Prepare and issue employment contracts, offer packs and other employment documentation, and ensure new starters are set up accurately on HR systems and payroll.
- Administer employee changes, including salary amendments, contractual variations, internal transfers, benefits changes and other updates.
- Coordinate offboarding activity, including exit surveys, payroll notifications and leaver documentation, and support monthly payroll processes where needed.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, managing the HR inbox and JIRA ticketing system within agreed service levels, providing guidance and escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate HR records, systems and documentation, ensuring data quality, audit readiness and GDPR compliance, and complete references, background checks and reporting requirements as needed.
- Support HR projects, policy and process updates, internal communications, intranet content and continuous improvement activity to enhance HR service delivery and the co-worker experience.
- Work consistently to agreed service standards, balancing responsiveness, accuracy and quality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
