Salary: £24,570 - £25,401 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year*
Contract: Permanent. Required as soon as possible

Role Overview
One Sixth Form or Abbeygate Sixth Form College are looking for a HR Administrator – Recruitment and Transactional.
Hybrid role (up to 2 days on-site) based either at One Sixth Form, Ipswich or Abbeygate Sixth Form, Bury St Edmunds.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth delivery of onboarding, vetting, and transactional HR processes.
- Act as a first point of contact for new starters, employees, and managers.
- Ensure pre-employment checks are completed efficiently and compliantly, including right to work, DBS, reference, and qualification checks.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, prepare contracts and new starter documentation, maintain accurate employee records.
- Support payroll processes by ensuring employee data and contractual changes are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Liaise with managers and colleagues across the organisation to ensure a positive onboarding experience and smooth transition for new employees.
Required Skills and Experience
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Previous administrative experience is essential.
- Experience in HR, payroll administration, employee onboarding, or vetting processes would be advantageous.
