About The Role

Pertemps Coventry Commercial seeks an HR Administrator for a full-time position in Warwick, offering £25,000 to £29,000 per annum. This role supports a people-focused organisation, assisting colleagues throughout the UK and Ireland. As a central contact, you will deliver professional administrative support across the employment journey, from recruitment and onboarding to benefits and offboarding. Responsibilities also include aiding broader HR projects. The position suits someone eager to assume ownership and develop their expertise within a supportive environment. You will handle varied duties daily, liaising with employees and managers, ensuring accurate records, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. Prior administration experience and strong organisational abilities are essential for success.

Purpose of the role

As HR Administrator, you’ll be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing professional and responsive HR administration across the business.

You’ll be involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding through to employee benefits and offboarding, while also supporting wider HR projects and initiatives.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to offboarding
  • Preparing accurate and timely HR documentation
  • Maintaining confidential employee records and ensuring information is accurate and up to date
  • Using HR systems and SharePoint to manage records and provide meaningful HR data and analytics when required
  • Keeping employee benefit and reward information up to date, including pensions, private healthcare and employee assistance programmes
  • Managing the day-to-day administration of the company car fleet
  • Acting as a first point of contact for employee HR queries via phone and email
  • Supporting the HR & Quality Manager with projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive and respectful workplace culture

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strong administration skills with a genuine interest in people.

You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable working independently, while also being a trusted and approachable point of contact for colleagues.

You’ll Bring

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail
  • A self-motivated approach and the ability to manage your own workload
  • A professional, approachable and collaborative attitude
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Teams

You must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Leamington Spa.

Desirable Experience

  • CIPD Level 3 in Human Resource Practice or equivalent
  • Mental Health First Aider or First Aid Champion experience
