Part-Time Cluster Human Resources Administrator
At voco Grand Central Hotel and Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, we’re looking for a Part-Time Cluster Human Resources Administrator to join our People Team.
This is a varied role supporting two busy hotels, helping to keep our people processes organised, accurate, and running smoothly. You’ll support everything from new starters and HR records to training, compliance, recruitment, and team engagement.
Working 24 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, we’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and great with detail. Previous experience in a busy, high-volume administration role is essential, ideally within hospitality or another fast-paced environment. Previous HR experience would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining accurate team member records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
- Supporting new starters, onboarding and leavers, including contracts, right-to-work and immigration documentation, pre-employment checks, and inductions.
- Keeping IHG University, mandatory training, probation, and HR trackers accurate and up to date, following up outstanding actions, and preparing relevant letters.
- Supporting the People Team inbox, responding to straightforward queries, and preparing standard HR correspondence.
- Taking accurate meeting notes when required and supporting HR, compliance, and file audits.
- Supporting recruitment, including interview coordination, candidate administration, and onboarding.
- Getting involved in team engagement, recognition, surveys, communications, and wellbeing activities.
- Providing general administrative support and helping with People Team projects and priorities as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
