About The Role

Huntress is currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join a prestigious wealth management firm based in central London. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity to support a dynamic HR and operations team within a fast-paced financial services environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing various HR administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations across the employee lifecycle. The role requires a proactive individual capable of handling high-volume workloads with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience as an HR Administrator, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR processes and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel, is essential. Experience with mail merge functionalities would be advantageous but is not mandatory. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are also critical traits for success in this role. A proactive team player who can work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment will thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting official correspondence, including letters and contract amendments, using standard Word templates with employee information.
  • Supporting the interview process and assisting with onboarding and off-boarding administration for new and departing employees.
  • Managing general HR administration tasks across the employee lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Responding to manager and employee queries independently, providing professional and efficient support.
  • Assisting with the preparation of offer letters, salary reviews, bonus administration, and related HR documentation.
  • Monitoring pre-employment checks, including right-to-work and background screening, providing regular updates to the HR team.
  • Maintaining and updating accurate employee records and HR files, ensuring compliance with data protection policies.
  • Uploading documents to internal HR systems and electronic personnel files, ensuring data integrity.
  • Managing shared HR and Operations inboxes, responding to routine queries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating the return of signed contracts and HR documentation to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation and facilitating smooth integration.
  • Producing documents using mail merge and updating HR templates as required to streamline communication.
  • Providing administrative support for HR and Operations projects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks across the wider HR and Operations teams to support overall business functions.
